This section contains FAQs which we regularly receive.

What shall I wear?

You should wear something you are comfortable with and perhaps a shoe with a small heel (Ladies). No trainers. Bring some water to drink as you might get a little warm.

Do I need a partner?

Not at all. DanceRite doesn’t discriminate against dancers without partners and you are welcome to come along by yourself. We can’t promise you will have a partner for the whole evening, however, we have helpers on hand and there will be plenty of opportunities to practise your dance skills.

I want to learn to dance. How do I join a class?

We run a rolling 6-week class where the basic steps in Ballroom and Latin are taught. We teach in Camberley and Basingstoke. Details and prices when the next course starts are available under the Dance Classes menu. So are directions to our venues.
